Scott is using radar data from the Sentinel-1 mission to model ambient canopy moisture on a stand level. He also is one of the certified UAS operators in the MARS lab, and is involved with keeping the flight platforms in working order.

Scott graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Colorado in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology and a minor in Planetary Astronomy. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, playing piano, and hiking.
